Congratulations on your new family member! Click here to learn more about your new pet’s health needs.

The key to a long life for your new loved one is regular health check ups for your pet.

Puppies and kittens need to have 3 or 4 sets of distemper vaccines and need to be on heartworm prevention.

We recommend all puppies receive the Kennel Cough (Bordatella) booster series and all kittens have the Feline Leukemia booster series. Both puppies and kittens should have a fecal and physical exam before 4 months of age.

Also don’t forget to spay or neuter your new family member. Many pets, especially small dogs and cats will go into heat at 6 months of age. With the pet overpopulation problem please spay or neuter your pets. There are many haelth benefits to early spay/neuter.
